Hi! I’m Kathleen.
I am a solutions-oriented creative professional with a knack for problem solving, process improvement, and mentorship.
My Approach
Collaborative
I believe great results come from strong partnerships. As a collaborative project manager, I work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and creative partners to align on goals and deliverables from the start. I immerse myself in your brand, business needs, and customer mindset to ensure every decision reflects your vision and drives meaningful outcomes.
Adaptable
I take a strategic and solutions-focused approach to every project by balancing big-picture thinking with hands-on execution. From concept through delivery, I guide teams through structured processes while staying flexible and adaptive. Together, we’ll refine every phase to ensure clear timelines, top-tier quality, and impactful final results.
Design Into Space:
Product Reinvention
I spearheaded a visual-first overhaul of seasonal product development, driving conversations with the CFT and vendors, cutting sample waste by 85% and driving faster, more aligned assortment decisions across teams.
Project Highlights
Private Label Creation:
Metal Stamping
I drove concept-to-shelf development of a new category in the in-house brand with metal-stamped product lines, collaborating closely with merchants and vendors to pitch, prototype, and refine assortments through sourcing partnerships.
Product Innovation:
Charms
I worked closely with the Trend & Design team and the vendors abroad to create a new line of unique charms and genuine stone jewelry that matched the financial and design goals of the company.
Mentorship Testimonials
"I am endlessly grateful to have had Kathleen as a mentor. Her empathy, clarity, and strategic insight has given me the confidence and the skills to continue to grow in my design career. She doesn’t just share her knowledge; She truly invests in helping others to grow on their own."
Julia Vanderpeet, Product Designer: Apparel & Frames
"I had the pleasure of being mentored by Kathleen for about a year, and during that time she taught me how to read finance charts and reports, skills that made a huge difference in my role at Michaels. More than that, she was a kind and supportive friend who always took the time to listen and encourage me. I’m grateful we crossed paths!"
Maria Fabre, Product Designer: Unfinished Surfaces
